I feel like most people haven’t seen this movie and they just see this clip, not understanding that this is a commentary on how the news is turning into meaningless editorial to make people angry. This is literally supposed to be the Network making money off the rantings of a crazy person. It’s incredibly ironic that people see this scene as a rallying cry.
