I imagine most of the actors from GOT are frustrated as they never really found the fame they thought they would after it ended. And it’s a shame because there are definitely a few I expected to see blow up

I can understand since her death wasn’t really the point of the scene, but that was maybe the best single scene of the series so it’s hard to feel bad.

I though she had a great death! Her character had this ongoing chess game with Cersei, to the point where she pretty much figured out what she was up to in her last moments. I suppose in the end her death mainly served Cersei’s character development, but I found it very memorable and a fitting end to the Cersei vs Maegaery arc.

I don’t think this headline is true. I watched her interview at Oxford in UK (1 year ago) and she said she wanted to be written off to do other projects. She wanted her character to die.
Lmao the Tyrells getting outplayed and nuked is, ironically, one of the best moments in the whole franchise because it was B&W’s work.

It’s a little unclear from the article how much she just wanted her characters arc to go better in the end, or whether she thinks it was actual bad writing from a neutral point of view for her character to die in that situation.
That being said, she at least kills it in her final scene.

*forget about the bloody gods and listen to what I’m telling you! Ceirci understands the consequences of her absence, and she is absent anyways… which means she does not intent to suffer those consequences. The trial can wait, we all need to leave.”*
