The report, linked below, claims Variety pitched six-figure prices to studios to get a panel conversation with contending talent, followed by a curated dinner with a guest list of up to 40 Golden Globe voters.

Variety, THR, Deadline, and IndieWire have always been studio mouthpieces, and it seems the remaining players in the Hollywood press media are tightening their grip on controlling film journalism.
