These biopics just rub the wrong way especially when people still living are involved. That’s just me though, but when that Donald Sterling show on Hulu came out with Lawrence Fishburne as Doc Rivers I took a look at the preview and had a hard pass. Just not realistic.
People don’t know the Menendez story as well, but the Aaron Hernandez and Donald Sterling stories have been beaten to death in the media. We don’t need any more “dramas” about them. Saw a clip for the Hernandez one which made me cringe. “This isn’t the best florida recruiting class ever. It’s the best of all time.” Dude, that looks nothing like Urban.
