‘Abominable’ opened in theaters 5 years ago this week. The $75M film grossed $188M WW and was the last DreamWorks film to open with $20M domestically until ‘The Bad Guys’ in 2022.

  1. I saw this per chance when my local theater wasn’t playing ‘Judy’. It’s a decent, cute little flick despite being a greatest hits compilation of DreamWorks-isms.

    I find it interesting that ‘Croods: A New Age’ grossed more during the pandemic a year later.

  2. Its hilarious how this was made entirely to bank up on China and it bombed there due to that stupid map controversy that could have been easily avoided.
