This butter wouldn’t melt act she’s doing is a performance I’ve seen her do in a couple of interviews lately. Very strange. Maybe because Cynthia Erivo is so elegant, she feels somehow like she has to match up to her? She seems to take on the personality of whoever she’s spending time or working with. What I’m willing to believe is that she didn’t get the extensive surgery some people think she got. But that she had NO surgery? Girl.
My bet is that some of her “what on earth” reaction is genuine, and it’d be super believable if she owned up to what she did get.
And I’m only willing to believe that she didn’t have such extensive surgery because I think she has access to non surgical procedures and professionals that can probably mimic a lot of the results people attribute to under the knife procedures and in her mind there’s a distinction between the two (which I don’t personally understand).
In no way will I believe she had no under the knife procedures “and it’s all just fillers and Botox and makeup.”

So, I’ve taken a lie detector test for my job multiple times before and holy shit this is not even how it’s done. First of all, you can’t move around like that otherwise it skews the results. Secondly, your answers have to be flat yes or no’s – you can’t just ramble full sentences.
Like it’s not just about strapping on the shit, you have to sit there incredibly still and give short answers and you can’t be talking and breathing like that. And holy shit it is so obvious all the work she has done
