Christ alive, whoever at paramount decided to put Transformers next to these two needs to be blacklisted at this rate. I don’t think I’ve seen a screw up this bad in years

TF: One going subpar 1M in its second week doesn’t seem good. Hopefully international markets work for it!

Just a fan does not guarantee box office. And now Transformers fans have noticed this, just like Furiosa

After seeing The Wild Robot, all I can say is DreamWorks is about to win their second ever Oscar.

Glad to see Wild Robot is doing well, it’s an excellent film and the best western animated film of the year by a wide margin, and it’s possibly the best Disney film in years…and it wasn’t even made by Disney!!
It was made by DreamWorks, but Chris Sanders’s style and storytelling is distinctly in the Walt Disney vein of storytelling. It’s so frustrating as a believer in the legacy of the Disney animated feature as a distinct American art form to see the animation studio struggling the way that it has.
I believe in Pete Docter and Pixar has made good films lately, between Inside Out 2 and Turning Red. I really hope that Jared Bush can turn things around at the studio and get them back on a story first strategy, because Wish underperforming the way it did and being as mediocre as it was is unacceptable.
Congrats to DreamWorks staff, cast, and crew for making a terrific movie that will last forever.

Beetlejuice still pulling in 1 mils on Monday is incredible. And it’s the Halloween season so I expect it has a very leggy month.

Went to the 4pm Monday (earliest showing at my theatre smh) of TWR yesterday and honestly the best time to see a kids movie without all the kids
