The first 15 minutes of Scream 6 were incredible. It was filled with so much promise and possibilities. Then the following hour and 45 minutes diced back into the same old formula and I was disappointed.
On top of the fact the new main cast doesn’t seem to die.. This new trilogy is way too safe.

Instead of telling a new story they venture back to old themes because “Fans”.
Scream ended with Sam deciding she does not want to be a psycho.

I think they completely lost the Gen Z audience tbh especially without Barrera and Ortega which is a massive blow to this movie/ franchise. Neve Campbell isn’t drawing in the Gen Z crowd that’s for sure.

No Wes Craven and no Radio Silence. Don’t know about other people, but Radio Silence fucking continued the movies the way they should’ve been continued. Who knows what the franchise will become without them. For now there were no bad Scream movies for me.
