I’ve got to hand it to Sony. A live action Spider-Man television series where the titular character is played by Nicolas Cage is such an batshit concept that only they could have come up with it.

>Spider-Noir tells the story of an aging and down on his luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.”
Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Li Jun Li, and Jack Houston also star.

Huh, I thought this was going to get cancelled after Sony fell out with Lord & Miller. Nice to see it is still going to happen.

Filming? I thought this was going to be animated???

Sony is very desperate to make something work with the Spider-Man IP they have the rights to.

Noir is one of my favourite spidermen so I’m rather excited to see what ends up happening with this. And hey even if it doesn’t turn out great we still got Cage as spiderman.
