Sabrina Carpenter has stolen merch designs from NY artist Jeffrey Lewis
Seems pretty cut and dry to me, the design is the same right down to the lines on the record – she has just changed the text and added frills. Thoughts?
Oh this is terrible, they didn’t even change the placement of highlights or anything, this is clearly not even “inspired” but just straight up copied.

This seems fairly cut and dried,it’s the same exact design. If Sabrina’s and her team liked the design so much they should have just paid Jeffrey Lewis for the use of it. I hope they rectify the situation and make sure they pay him what’s owed. Good Luck Jeffrey!

Ah you beat me to it! I’m so pissed for Jeffrey. It’s from her last tour, so I wonder if he’s just realised or he’s been fighting for compensation for this long.

Sabrina, why? She absolutely has the means to legally obtain the license to use that design. All she had to do was pay the artist, so this is incredibly disappointing.

Wow, this is blatant. Sometimes these claims are made and it’s a stretch but this one is obviously a copy of his design.
Hope this guy can get the compensation and credit he deserves.
