I think fairly common. They know they need it up front to get viewers’ attention and then once the hook is in, they don’t need nudity as much. I think the rare exception is Emmy Rossum who was okay doing nude scenes until quite late. Even Mary Louise Parker who didn’t stop doing those scenes butted with Jenji K over them.
