Watch out for Terrifier 3 this weekend. Looking like a $20m+, maybe even more. Lots of theaters will be adding it today after Joker 2 collapse. Could pop a very, very nice opening.

  1. To my surprise, this film might actually become no. 1 at the box office, ESPECIALLY if **Joker: Folie a Deux** has abysmal legs next week.

Idk, that would be insane for a niche type movie like Terrifier.

I think, this might be Empire City spinning after Joker.

Terrifier 3 has the type of fanbase that’ll buy tickets early but I can’t imagine walkups getting it to 20m+. Happy to be wrong.

I’m hoping theaters near me add on to their screenings. Right now it’s only screening once per day Thurs – Sunday.

  5. These movies have a glass ceiling. Not many moviegoers have the stomach and mental fortitude for a movie this gruesome and mean spirited.

These movies are made cheaply, so even a 10-15mil opening weekend would be pretty good and justify making more in this franchise, but this will never be a horror franchise on the same level as Saw, The Conjuring, etc…

  6. Joker dead, Transformers dying, Coppola dead, The Wild Robot’s legs being flimsier than expected:

Could be clown town this month.

The movie opens on Thursday where I live and only the first two rows had empty seats (and it’s not small either).

Contrary to what some people want to believe, the audience for these movies is much bigger than people think.
