we literally saw him beat Cassie on tape.

Im profoundly saddened by the fact that she raised a monster.

While it’s really disappointing that she is defending Diddy, I’m not surprised since she is his mother. I know a lot of parents will put their head in the sand when it comes to their children, regardless of whatever heinous act they’re accused of and the proof being right in front of them.

  3. Boy mom “try to hold your son accountable for his terrible actions” challenge level: impossible

  4. I really hate the “none of us are perfect” defense
Because yet here I am not on trial for sex trafficking

Sorry but where there’s smoke (abuse on video), there’s fire (even more serious abuse over a long period of time that was not recorded)

She would’ve done better to stay quiet. I know that’s her son, but putting out a statement in defense of his behaviors can only serve to show the public how a man like Sean Combs was raised to believe that the consequences did not apply to him. She has clearly turned a blind eye to his behaviors and enabled him his entire life. She’s part of the problem. Sure, he’s entitled to his day of court. But his victims are also entitled to justice.

  6. She really should have sat this one out. Because now she’s looking like an enabler and you have to wonder what type of upbringing she gave her son 🤦🏽‍♀️

  7. Some mothers will never truly hold their sons accountable. They are perfect little angels no matter what. My ex’s mom was a nightmare but holy crap…

History also tells us the opposite, that too many go unpunished and under the cover of fame and power their crimes only come out once they’re gone with no way to get justice for victims, or when they’re old and past it. The more sickos and perpetrators that can be caught and hopefully stopped when they’re younger the better…

    She sounds delusional 😬

Well, she’s acknowledging he lied about beating Cassie and being violent. 🙄 It’s like she’s delusional about the possibility of him lying about more heinous acts.

  10. Delulu because she knows *damn* well that the Cassie video is the tip of the evidentiary iceberg.

Oh, of course. Reminds me of my black grandmother staunchly defending OJ back in the day. BARF.

This statement is actually repulsive and reading it was infuriating. His mother doesn’t show an iota of empathy and compassion for his victims but is somehow portraying her predatory and abusive son as a victim of wrongful imprisonment. Some mothers will excuse and explain away the abuse and pain their sons inflict on others, so I’m never surprised when I learn men like this have a parent who is as an enabler. Loving your kids is holding them accountable when they do something horrific not continually making excuses for them. Ma’am, you raised a monster who abused countless victims and I’m not sure what evidence you actually require to accept that as he was clearly captured on tape abusing Cassie in public. I wonder if you’ve thought about his victims and how they and their families might be feeling at all?

  13. “My baby is being blamed based on a narrative of lies”

“Yeah ok he did lie to me and the entire world about brutally attacking a defenseless woman trying to escape from him, but he feels *really* bad about it 😢”

Well. If the rumors are true, he was slapping his momma too. She’s in the sunken place now.
