**Synopsis**: On Christmas Eve, a rambunctious extended family gathers for the last holiday in their ancestral home. As the night wears on, the teenagers sneak out to claim the wintry suburb as their own.

  3. This is a very specific complaint and maybe it’s just me, but this trailer makes the movie feel very crowded. Every seem is just jam-packed with people. It kind of seems like the whole movie will feel like the opening of Home Alone (that was intentionally done that way to contrast with the scenes of Kevin being alone). It just kind of fills me with anxiety and dread when I’d rather feel cozy from a Christmas movie. But again, that might just be specific to me.

  4. The cast is relatives of famous people + Cera? Who’s he related to?

    Seems interesting.

  5. For those wondering, Cera is one of the police officers @1:42. Blink and you’ll miss him.

I don’t believe this is a real movie … I mean I know that it is, I just don’t believe it.

I saw this without sound, an it reminded me of the “Too many cooks” YouTube video.

  8. I don’t know what to make of this.

It’s not strictly a comedy, but doesn’t look terribly dramatic. The two actors I do recognize seem to be bit players. It seems like it might have around 13 concurrent plots.

If I had to describe it, I’d say “it’s IFC making an unironic Hallmark-style film for the kind of people who watch IFC.” (I don’t mean that to be pejorative.)

I’m curious if it hits. (I think it’s definitely not for me though.)
