The movie better be good or you just might see a Joker 2 situation. And with a budget being anywhere from $250M-$310M, Paramount better hope that the audiences are entertained.

Ridley Scott does battle scenes pretty well. For that reason alone I think it’ll attract many audiences, such as myself.
Who cares about Jay Z. Give me killer monkeys, rhinos and gory sea arena battles with sharks. I’m in.

That new trailer a few weeks ago was fucking awesome, had my whole theater hyped up before Joker. I think this is gonna over perform and open in the $70-80M range.

If that budget was lower I could very much see this becoming a hit. But a 300M+ budget is insane…

Since Joker 2 failed spectacularly, I wouldn’t be surprised if this & Venom 3 overperform a little bit to even things out, especially if both these films are enjoyable.

I think both this and Wicked will open over $50M. Wicked will be more presale-heavy due to Ariana Grande fans and fans of the musical.
