Killer Klowns is clearly the best. GOAT soundtrack and theme, great costumes and the last on screen appearance of John Vernon.

IT was just a popular book and a poorly received mini-series.

Tim Curry’s It scared many a 90’s kid

myself and my younger brother included

  3. Watched IT: Chapter One for the first time the other day. After hearing so much praise I was really disappointed. Great performances for sure, but the story was so boring. >!Introduce the kids, each kid has a scary encounter, then they bludgeon the supernatural clown monster to death with sticks…?!< I’m hoping Chapter Two is a little more interesting.

EDIT: Also, is the version on Max missing scenes??? I noticed the geeky kid went from having a clean cast, to having it signed by the mean girl at the pharmacy, to having it say “LOVER” in the next scene he appeared in. Or did he just add the ‘V’ offscreen?

  4. Oft forgotten and shunned because of the horrible things that happened behind the scenes, but Clownhouse should be at the top of the list.

  5. They didn’t mention Hellhouse 1 or Hellhouse 4, which do have some of the scariest clown scenes. Much scarier than everything on this list imo.

I gotta say, after finally caving in and watching *Terrifier*…

Art is a funny motherfucker. No other way to put it. I could see after five minutes why this clown has become iconic.
