It’s funny because whenever a TV show gets talked about as something thats closer to a long 7/8/9 hour film, that’s when I get interested, because most TV is just full of fluff with a little cliffhanger at the end of each episode designed to hook you so you tune into the next one just to prevent subscribers from cancelling

but stuff like The Curse and Twin Peaks the Return is TV where every moment matters whether its on a plot level, thematic level or a character development level

so the fact that Disclaimer is turning off people who don’t like this stuff is probably a good thing, because usually these are the best TV shows anyway

  2. Wow I’m shocked. I saw the first 3 episodes at TIFF and thought they were amazing. Was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Blanchettes performance wasn’t anything special, but Kevin Klines performance was outstanding.

The fact that they said it would be better if it was made by David E Kelley and starring Nicole Kidman means this reviewer cannot be trusted.

I haven’t seen the show, but I have a hard time believing this.

If I see the word pretentious used as a critique by a professional journalist I’m instantly disregarding their opinion
