  1. There are sure to be wacky hijinks when an old woman is swapped with her elderly mother!

I’m guessing the twist is there’s a third generation that gets involved?

Because otherwise… yeah. Two grown-ass white ladies switching places isn’t the exactly the most riveting take on this idea.

    This is just sad.

Maybe they’ll switch it up this time and Lindsay will be the one saying she looks like the crypt keeper

  4. I LOVE *Freaky Friday*, both the original and the remake, but they REALLY have to stop with the body swap movies, they’re old and tired. The only one I’ve seen since the last *FF* that were actually fun was *The Change Up*, and *Freaky*.

Otherwise, this trope died about the time that the kid from *The Wonder Years* did his version.

I’m hoping this is better than I expect it will be. Maybe Jaime Lee Curtis saw something in the script she really liked? Maybe we’re in for a surprise? Time will tell.

  6. damn everybody is in the comments hating but I’m kinda happy this got made, maybe I’m a live laugh love mom after all

  7. I’m not particularly pro-Palestine or pro-Israel, but Jamie Lee Curtis posting a picture of supposedly Israeli children being bombed with the caption “terror in the skies,” then promptly deleting the post when she found out the children were Palestinian is genuinely some South Park shit lol.

I’ve been thinking about how there were all these articles on what “went wrong” with no one liking (or noticing) the new Katy Perry album, when it used to be understood that most of the time, things are only popular for a little while, and then we move past them. But that can’t be ALLOWED to happen anymore. Culture is no longer linear, it’s a moment that never ends. Everything is new and trendy and now, forever, and if it’s not being continuously exploited for profit it’s a failure, regardless of whether people want more of it or not.

  9. All I’m gonna think when I see this movie on Netflix one day is “So this is why you couldn’t play Dr. Kurehia in One Piece season 2”

Shooting schedule conflicts are a bitch and all I hope is she got paid for this role very well.

  10. Dang she has a clubbed finger… doesn’t that mean liver or heart issues when it’s like that?

    She looks great, though!

  11. See this time Linsday Lohan is the one who is busy, strict, and stressed all the time, and Jamie Lee Curtis is retired, care-free, and spends too much time consuming brainrot. You see? They switched places. So they’re gonna have to switch places again. Apparently, they learned nothing the first time.
