Honestly could have expected a little more from Terrifier 3 only because so many showings were sold out or close to sold out near me last night, and Joker 2 was borderline empty.

  2. The clowns have been sent into the U.K. box office this weekend with Art the Clown being in stabbing distance of ~~Joker~~ Arthur Fleck yesterday. Terrifier 3 is obviously over-performing, but it could have never dreamed of getting this close with that frankly unprecedented Fri-Fri hold from
Joker. Even Quantumania “only” dropped 77% on second Friday, and that film’s opening day was boosted by kids being off school and bad weather. That film’s opening struggled over the 2x line when all said and done. It is now all but guaranteed for Folie à Deux to finish under the first film’s £12.5m opening weekend.

Not a bad showing from Transformers One with £337k. It is down on Rise of the Beast’s £500k first day by a good third, but I would say that’s above average for how this film has been performing elsewhere. The scale of the increase today will give us a better idea how well this doing with families, a good example is Migration going from a £435k Friday to a £1.71m Saturday on the high-end, and with kids out of school in Scotland currently and the rest of the U.K. in coming weeks it has a chance to leg out. Watch this space.
