Hell yeah, I was so happy with how this and Prey turned out. Both were smaller movies that went back to the basics but were solid flicks in their own right. I hope Disney/20th Century lets the filmmakers do their thing and “let them cook” for any sequels. I know Trachtenberg is filming Badlands right now and Prey 2 afterward
And the next Alien movie needs Fede, without him, I honestly can’t get interested. I didn’t mind Scott’s last 2 movies, but you can tell there were some behind the scenes changed that muddled the final product. Hell, Covenant was supposed to be “Prometheus 2” but Fox caved to angsty fans and ordered a full on Alien prequel
