  1. She literally changes her cadence depending on what’s going on in her career. Every other year she sounds like a completely different person, I don’t see how ‘its you’.

Dependant on how she feels she needs to represent herself at any given moment*********

I wonder if she uses that fake voice in private too with her boyfriend and her close family and friends

idk why but I love nonsensical celebrity nonreplies like this. They crack me up.

Official request to make “i’m here and i’m me” a flair.

I don’t think we have one natural speaking voice. It will change depending on the setting and sometimes it’s modelled after the people we grew up with or hang out with.  This isn’t the case here. Grande decided she was going to be black for a couple years and cosplayed as Victoria Monét for a bit. She spoke in a way she no longer does,  yuh-ing all the time to fit in and when she got what she wanted she did a complete 360.

Who is she? Does she even know? I wonder who she is cosplaying today and if she even has a sense of self anymore, as her looks, personality and voice constantly change.

  7. Is she aware that we have over a decades worth of audio of her voice? Singing, acting, interviews, general conversation??

  8. It’d be one thing if she changed her voice tone but she completely changes the way she talks and everything. Even the accents.

I can’t stand to watch her interviews recently because she talks in such an unnatural way. Overly dramatic and over pronunciation of every word and sounds way too sugary sweet. It’s bizarre. She doesn’t seem natural at all.

okay but girl…vocal placement is not the same as adopting different weird accents in a bizarre attempt at being “racially ambiguous” or whatever the fuck she was doing for a while there.

  10. i wish she would just admit that she’s a theater kid at heart and she likes having a “character” to play for every era. it’s not like thats a perfect answer but it’s better than straight up denying it lol

  11. “I’m me and I’m here!” as if she’s part of some marginalized subculture lol you’re just weird porcelain doll right now, it’s not that brave.
