Funny thing is that if it actually hits $70M, then the all three films in the trilogy would have had rounded opening weekends. The first Venom made $80M, and Let There Be Carnage did $90M.

Easy 200M+ WW debut, wonder if it can get to 250M though
The first one opened to 205M without China which released a month later and opened to 107M on its own.

I think $70M OW sounds safe. Gonna make it one of the most consistent trilogies at the box office

Would not surprise me if this one is also underestimated. The Venom movies get a lot of flak in places like the trades and reddit, but the reality is that a good amount of people just have enjoyed them. Don’t see why they would stop now.
