    It’s out next year:

    >Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy play elite snipers – one American, the other Russian – stationed in watchtowers on opposite sides of a vast and highly classified gorge located in a faraway land whose exact location they’re not even allowed to know. Their mission? To safeguard the outside world from an undisclosed, mysterious evil that lurks within.

  2. i worry that the ending will be the tired old twist that the world they know is not as it seems.

  3. This could be a spiritual successor to The Cabin in the Woods. Not saying it is, but the story is interesting.

  4. I’ll be there day one but only if Teller’s character dies horribly in the first scene.

  5. I mean I know the Oregon Washington border is not super populated, but I wouldn’t call it a “faraway land”. Also, what is a Russian sniper doing there? The real plot twist will be the reveal that the monster is actually the Dave Matthew’s Band, and they keep letting him do yearly shows to appease him.

  6. I sentence you to a lifetime of horror at Monster Gorge. (Don’t worry, it’s just a name).

I thought he said it was just a name!

What he meant was Monster Gorge is actually a ravine.

  7. Anna Taylor Joy. Awesome

    Sigourney Weaver. Fantastic

    Miles Teller. Urgh.

Oh well. 2 out of 3.

    <<starring…Sigourney Weaver>>

Well, I think we now know what creatures are at the bottom of the gorge. And yes, the name of her character in this film is…Ripley.

I’m pretty excited for it mostly cause of Anya Taylor Joy and Sigourney Weaver.

Scott Derrickson is hit or miss for me. Black Phone was fine, but it felt like it was missing something.
