I was surprised to read this show is extended for another season.
His gimmick is that he’s an alien but im so tired of tv shows that put an “awkward” person in a certain situation (good doctor, sheldon, monk, will trent, atypical, …)
Im not sure if High Potential is a parody or not

I lasted about half the first season before I got bored and moved on. It’s not… bad… I guess, it’s just also not very interesting.

It’s fucking great. It’s essentially Northern Exposure meets the X-Files, and Tudyk is a goddamn physical comedic genius.

Tudyk carries this show hard. The writing is very uneven and most of the supporting characters are barely tolerable. That being said, I’d watch another season.. 😀

Yeah I can recommend, I feel it’s built around a single schtick but then it surprises with good moments. Worthy binge.
