I think Netflix is really pushing it, when it comes to pricing. And it should be careful the competition does not take advantage

  2. They need to raise prices.

How else are they going to give the Russo Bros’ production company another $300m?

It’s about the point in the curve when consumers will start asking if the diminishing return of focusing on series, then abruptly canceling them for no good reason, is worth the now constant upward march of subscription fees.

And what about shifting to the competition? Which platform? They are all doing the same. the choices are increasingly bewildering. Who has enough cash lying around to chase your favorite series across random platforms?

I am so sick of looking for past episodes of series, reading an article about who owns the rights, and the fact they aren’t available because they haven’t figured out how to squeeze the most blood out of their prize turnip.

I’ve been turning more and more to the DVD/Blu Ray collection at the library. I don’t have the spare change to pay for broadband internet AND every single platform out there.

Sorry but not sorry, money hungry studio execs and greedy shareholders.

I don’t mind paying for content. It needs to make money somehow or there will be no good content to be had.

  5. Thought I would regret canceling mine 4 months ago. Nope. I’m looking to cancel more now.

Their membership rose after the password crackdown so suck it redditors who thought Netflix would fail.  Go Netflix!

Wait, what? This is about Netflix raising prices *again*? Boo Netlix!

  7. And people will continue to pay for it no matter how many people will come on here claiming they are canceling.

We are nearing the point where the convenience of streaming no longer outweighs the cost. I will pay a fair price for ease of use but with all of these price hikes I am very very close to canceling and sailing the high seas for everything (again).

  9. The only time I see Netflix in the news is some undeserved cancellation or price increases. At some point they must think about the perception of the audience.

Bye Bye Netflix, you’ll never draw me in with series you’re bound to cancel halfway again

  11. I recenty got a nice 4k tv and I decided to upgrade to 4k.

I just learned no anime is rendered in 4k lol and thats most of what I want to watch

  12. Got the email this morning. From 119SEK to 149SEK, so $11 to $14, starting jn a month. I mean, compared to $5/month for SkyShowtime (despite it being lacklustre) and MAX each, $9/month for Disney+ (which now includes two UEFA tournaments I watch a lot of), or even the $20/month for AppleOne which gives me AppleTV+ and Apple Music (I honestly kinda love both), and enough iCloud storage for my, mom’s, and dad’s photos etc…I don’t see how Netflix is remotely worth it anymore.
