So this is obviously not going to be a sleeper hit, for those who thought middle Americans were being underestimated in the tracking
You’re telling me that WB is planning a four-film saga for this movie?
so….what are they gonna do for Chapter 2?
But- but but Yellowstone walk ups
Costner walk ups were busy watching the debate. They’ll be coming out today /s
I wonder what will happen with part two? My guess, just a straight dump with very little marketing.
How did Deadline get this so wrong in their early estimates?
What happened to the fabled Midwest walkups?
Heading towards a 7-8m opening weekend imo.

Those Cannes reviews were the final nail in the coffin. Who wants to see a mid, messy, overlong 3 hour teaser trailer? Not even Yellowstone fans
Holy shit that is TERRIBLE.
At this point I don’t think it’s a question of how high in the teens it will get, it’s now a question of if it’ll even break eight figures.
To be fair, this movie was never going to do well in previews; it has “Senior early-bird matinee” written all over it.
That’s going to open under $10M which is very disappointing for a two part movie
WB is hoping all these boomers were watching the debate
