  1. >To his initial delight, the disguise really worked. “Nobody recognized me,” he says. But then an unfamiliar sensation washed over Bacon: the feeling of being invisible. At the Grove, Bacon recalls, “People were kind of pushing past me, not being nice. Nobody said, ‘I love you.’ I had to wait in line to, I don’t know, buy a fucking coffee or whatever. I was like, This sucks. I want to go back to being famous.”

You know what I’ll give him props for being self aware enough to realize and admit that. I guess when you’ve been treated like you are special and important for so long it’s difficult to go back to just being a regular person. This explains why celebrities cling to fame and relevancy long after their careers have faded, because even when they have all the money in the world it’s difficult to live without the constant adoration and attention they are used to receiving.

I’m a bit of a celebrity myself, I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy who knows Kevin Bacon! I wouldn’t want to be a regular person either.

  5. Kind of want to see a version of Being John Malkovich but with Kevin Bacon. Same cast, same script, just with Kevin Bacon.
