    Probably flogging a dead horse here, but I don’t know if I’d call Star Wars sci-fi.

    It’s more like fantasy with mind-wizards using light swords that don’t need batteries and somehow stop 3 feet away from their emitter. It’s a place where prophecies are made before coming true and souls or whatever the fuck the emperor had that can affect the real world and can come back to life.

    Most of all, according to the lore, humans had cities that dated back like 100,000 years or so but still only have primitive tech that’s maybe a couple of centuries ahead of ours, despite having been a technological civilization for at least 100 times longer than us.

    It’s pure middle earth.

    Dark Matter on Apple is a great show. Definitely worth seeing. Especially if you like Sliders.
