Alec Baldwin’s role as a producer will not be considered during ‘Rust’ trial, judge rules

This is pretty big. The implication by the prosecution always was that Alec’s role as producer made him responsible for Halyna’s death. Without that link, he’s just another actor in a prop accident for which he is not responsible, as the responsibility for prop safety lies entirely with the (already convicted) armorer. I don’t see him being convicted under these parameters.
