To no one’s surprise, it’s an excellent video that has lots of hidden meanings.
But the one thing that stood out to me the most was when Whitney (Kendrick’s partner) was dancing, their little girl was just in awe by her mom, what a lovely detail.

i heard someone say that kendrick drove the final nail into the coffin when he dropped a diss that could be played in the club and he was so right, i hear it everywhere now – in people’s cars, in mcdonald’s, in short videos – and it’s delicious. i’ve always been a drake hater and the vindication is just euphoric
