So around a 400m-500m WW finish seems likely depending on legs.
Yeah it is what it is.
This is gonna be another very heavy domestic movie.
Following Twisters path… not surprising this is super dom heavy

France and Germany are next weekend so that will definitely give it a shot in the arm, but yeah another super domestic-heavy legacy sequel for 2024.
$450-500m WW finish seems likely.
This is somehow starting off even more domestic-heavy than Twisters. It’s insane that we’ll probably have two big blockbusters with a 70+ DOM split in a single year.
Obviously this movie is fine, and will make a pretty good profit, but I think the bigger takeaway is that we’re seeing the birth of a new archetype of tentpole movie. One that is driven by nostalgia + a star that who has heavy domestic appeal, but not internationally (Glenn Powell and Jenna Ortega respectively).
Is there is any 80s classic other than stars wars who arent domestic heavy ?
Top gun surprisingly did well but it had Tom cruise ?
In my country only Et and back to future seem popular
Another Domestic carry movie!
Just as I figured, North America will do the heavy lifting.
On a positive note, i can enjoy the movie without too many people around me
“Twisters” has found a kindred spirit. Two movies that get a lot of love in the domestic market, but aren’t really grabbing people’s attention outside of the US.
If it can play well into Halloween, domestic could go as high as IT (2017)
On the high end, 450-500M should be the target
[Estimated debuts this weekend for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice by international market include](https://x.com/BORReport/status/1832812944763342946):
* U.K. – $9.6M
* Mexico – $6.5M
* Australia – $2.6M
* Spain – $2.5M
* Italy – $1.7M
* Brazil – $1.2M
76/24% dom/int ratio, I didn’t think we would see a big budget more domestic heavy movie than Twisters so soon
Yeah saw this coming…
Still a big success for WB though
Twisters is a lazy comparison it is going to make 1/3 more money on 2/3 the budget. It’s not really a close comparison
So bizarre to get two movies with such a strong performance domestic and a bomb overseas in such a short time.
