I didn’t hate the first trailer like a good portion of people did, but this is definitely an improvement. I know Gladiator II’s budget is anywhere from $250M-$310M and I’m probably being a little too optimistic, but I hope the film can break even and possibly make a small profit (which I think is possible if the film is almost as good as the first one).

All my enthusiasm for this film vanished with the CGI monkeys. The first was spectacular and gripping because of the practical effects during the fight scenes, same with the Mad Max films up until Furiosa. I just don’t get scared of cartoons the same way.
As a massive, lifelong fan of the first (and the exact target demographic), this is tragic. I continue to be totally baffled by how little insight creators of film and games have into their audience.
I’m predicting this bombs as bad as Indiana Jones, possibly worse.

Connie Nielson must have learned the secret of not aging from Keanu when they were shooting the Devil’s Advocate.

I can now definitely see where the obscene budget went, lol
This looks kinda good and god awful at the same damn time… Some of the special affects could use some work
I’m pumped for this!
I can’t tell which will be #1 that weekend between this and Wicked
Having rewatched Gladiator last night, I’m hoping that Ridley Scott can pull this off.
