    > Their book Sisterhood of Dune was the starting point for Dune: Prophecy, but Schapker tells EW that she and her team also took a creative approach to adaptation.

Why can’t there be a niche for writers who are just good at adapting a well fleshed out story without putting their own “mark” on the creative work.

This is based on Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. It is considered a better novel than the others they co-wrote. I think people should know how and why they’ve been cranking out these novels. Brian Herbert swears to this day that he discovered his father’s floppy discs which contained not only the outlines for the final Dune novels but ideas for several other novels. It is important to note that it’s been decades but Brian has refused to release the contents of the floppy discs, so many fans suspect the discs don’t even exist. Brian and Kevin have published some really bizarre Dune books, some hilariously titled like Paul of Dune. They are likely not to stop soon.
