  1. I genuinely can’t think of a single franchise that I’ve lost more interest in than Terminator over the years. It used to be a favorite, now I don’t even watch Terminator 2 anymore to say nothing of any of the other sequels.

Terminator doesn’t need more entries; every movie franchise doesn’t need to be driven so far into the ground people forget about it ever being great.

If they can figure out an angle where they can make a better movie than 1 and 2 they should. But that’s a tall order.

  3. Now_Wait-4-Last_Year on

The Sarah Connor Chronicles had a lot of great ideas that could be developed in new movies, make Skynet an actual character for starters with motives and a rationale, not just evil because. The comics have been very good in that area.

Basically, move away from assassin sent to kill the chosen one stories for starters.

  4. Terminator is the truest of zombie franchises. It fails and it fails and it fails, but we all at least dimly are aware of the premise, which is sufficient to try again and again
