My completely unqualified opinion: Anok Yai or Liu Wen both made an impression on me. All of these models are amazing of course but those two in particular add something to their pics.

Anok Yai is literally the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my entire life, if I walked past her on the street I KNOW I’d just stare and normally my brain would go “don’t be disrespectful stop staring” but her pure ethereal beauty would shut my brain down and i couldn’t even think that
Then I’d start crying on the spot and I wouldn’t even be able to ask for an autograph because the idea of my mediocre personal bubble and aura even getting NEAR her clearly superior personal bubble and aura would be TOO AUDACIOUS I’d just cry from a distance as she walked off to go be hot somewhere else

Does Anok Yai’s Met Gala appearance count as a contribution to the industry? If it does, nothing anyone else did this year can stack up to it, imo.
