  1. An incredible, kinetic force as a dancer in the Sign ‘O’ The Times concert film and an unforgettable performance on Alphabet Street will mean she’ll be remembered forever. RIP.

  2. First ever Prince concert I attended was from the tour this photo is from. She was his lead dancer, sang backup, rapped and even shot some hoops with him on the makeshift court on stage. Long before the Chapelle Show skit, anyone who saw this tour knew he could ball. Cat too!

Her rap on his late 80s hit Alphabet Street is iconic. She also has one on the much bootlegged, Black Album, on the song Cindy C, which Prince wrote as a diss track to a young model named Cindy Crawford!, who didn’t accept his invitation to dance with him at a Paris club one night.

And Cat was the star dancer, along with him, for his Sign O’the Times concert movie. One he directed that is widely considered one of the greatest ever made.
