Awe damn. He played that guy forever. That’s really sad. My mom loved Days forever. I’d come in and out of watching it with her. It was a very silly show for awhile

My late grandma never, ever missed an episode of Days of Our lives, even after the gay storyline was introduced.

You can have your opinions about soaps but as a fan for most of my life people should know this guy was the real deal. You won’t find a single person with a bad thing to say about him. I’d met him a few times and he was the most humble, down to earth guy who lived for his fans. RIP John Black fka The Pawn/Roman Brady/Forest Alamian/John Robicheaux

Damn! When I was a teenager I went through a Days phase watched religiously. John Black vs. Stefano DiMera was some of the best daytime TV. He was a great presence on screen. 70 is still pretty young. RIP
