For those who don’t know, this is a MASSIVE loss for the theatre community. Gavin Creel made his Broadway debut in 2002 and has been on Broadway 13 times since then. He originated the role of Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie, he starred in the revival of Hair, La Cage Aux Folles, he was in The Book of Mormon, Waitress, Into the Woods revival and the revival of Hello Dolly. He was a Tony and Olivier award winner and a true talent. He is beloved by the theatre community. He will not be forgotten.
