Darabont is directing 2 episodes of S5:

    >”What really dragged me out of retirement was that my wife and I really love this show [Stranger Things]. Our content now is so filled with horrible people doing horrible things for greedy reasons but ‘Stranger Things’ has so much heart. That positivity is something I really responded to.”

    >Asked if “Stranger Things 5” would lead to future directorial efforts, Darabond responded: “Who knows? I haven’t missed the business but I have missed being on set with creative people… It may well be one and done, but we’ve still got time.”

  2. He’s not wrong. There are shows I simply stopped watching because there wasn’t a single character with a redeemable quality.

  3. Probably just me, but it always bothers me when people have to shit on other things to complement another.

All he had to say was the positives about stranger things. And be done. No need to throw what seems like every other show under the bus with his own opinion. Especially an opinion that many people might disagree with.

Just a weird choice. In my opinion.

Got to meet him on set a couple months back. He wasn’t even directing anything that day. Just hanging out. I’m excited to see how his episodes turn out.

  5. I honestly thought oh is Stranger things season 5 out now for Halloween season? Okay lemme ..

Not expected till 2025, no announced filming end date…

    We’re still in LIVE filming?

It’s been 3 years since season 4 and they haven’t finished all the filming of the cast? Of mainly child turned Young Actors? Wtf is going on for 3 years between finished shooting schedules?
