HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE opened in Japan 20 years ago. It became the third highest grossing film in Japan, behind Titanic & Spirited Away. It grossed $236 million on $24 million budget. The film was dubbed into English under the supervision of Pete Docter & released in the US by Disney on 10 June 2005

This apparently got an IMAX re-release in China and nowhere else.
Also, if you guys were wondering why Pete Docter didn’t make anything for 8 years after **Monsters, Inc.**, this should answer at least some of that question.
For my money, this is Miyazaki’s best film. Love it so much.
