Trevor Noah at IGSxM… ‘Sometimes you make a joke in one country that’s completely harmless and in another country it’s totally the worst thing you could say… Go with your best intention but you’re at the mercy of the Internet at the end of the day.’ 👀

And he is not wrong and sometimes both celebrities say something similar at different time and one got away with it because maybe it was something bigger at the time

Timing is important too and how big you are

There is moment Internet will make a buzz for nothing

We went from magazines saying the garbage things some people said in private to the whole internet saying the garbage. I don’t even want a public facing job, so being famous and saying anything, anywhere, sounds like a nightmare. A comment, not even a joke, in a very specific setting could be fine, but it’ll have people across the world out for blood once it hits the internet. It’s so weird. And I’m not talking obviously offensive things. But like, anything. A comment on the price of groceries can set people off. We’ve lost the plot a bit.
