  1. They should bring his first show r/PopularWB to streaming with the original music instead! It was also the blueprint for Glee.

  2. Personally, yes. About 20 minutes into Glee for me. I can appreciate he has developed a very singular style. And that’s very difficult to do. His style is just not for me in the least.

  4. we did at Glee. Guy can come up with a decent premise but he should vacate the lead spot from there.

  5. Ryan Murphy is a creator whose stuff I *should* really like. I love horror. I love the macabre. But his work tends to feel disingenuous. Like, here’s blood, here’s violence, here’s sex… are you excited yet? Grotesquerie had me interested, and the beginning had me pretty engaged, but by the time we get to the murder, it felt like it had gone too far.

I’ll check out the second episode, because I do think there was some quality shit in there, and I enjoyed the nun character, but I have a feeling I’ll be noping out of this one.

  6. I liked the first season of Glee and The Politician, and that’s about it from him. Everything else I’ve seen was terrible.

  7. HowardBunnyColvin on

Went from not knowing who he was to hearing about him constantly here from 911 – american history story – and all the stuff he’s done. Shit I did not know he was behind so much American TV

  8. We did several tv shows ago.

That being said I actually am enjoying the Aaron Hernandez show quite a bit. But I wouldn’t mind if the Ryan Murphy wave started to recede either
