I can’t believe it’s been 10 years already. I remember reading all the buzz for the movie around the time it was released and hearing how “J.K. Simmons is going to sweep all the Best Supporting Actor awards for Whiplash” and of course he did end up sweeping that awards season. Whiplash is an amazing movie and J.K. Simmons’ Oscar win for this movie was very deserving.
