Hey [r/movies](https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/)! I’m Greg Jardin, director/writer/editor of IT’S WHAT’S INSIDE, now on Netflix. I’ll be back at 4 PM ET/7:00 PM PT today to answer any questions. AMA!
**Info:**
IT’S WHAT’S INSIDE is director/writer Greg Jardin’s debut film.
One of the buzziest films out of Sundance and SxSW this year, IT’S WHAT’S INSIDE is an edge-of-your-seat-genre-bender that’s equal parts thriller, dark comedy, mystery and sci-fi.
Logline: A group of friends gather for a pre-wedding party that descends into an existential nightmare when an estranged friend arrives with a mysterious game that awakens long-hidden secrets, desires, and grudges.
I lost access to Netflix a while ago, but still seek out fresh and original films. You describe It’s What
Inside as a genre bender. I’ve noticed most modern films I’ve taken a liking to have made great efforts to push the envelope. Films like Get Out, Sorry To Bother You, Beau Is Afraid, Barbarian etc. In the age of streaming, remakes and less risk taking on new IP, what modern movies and directors have inspired you?
