  1. I absolutely love this show. The entire cast is great, but Gary sets the entire tone and makes the show exceptional.

    Fucking love this show.

I love how much River fucks up and is always getting dropped on and beat up and running.

Honestly as much as it’s unbelievable they make the protagonists small time failures repeatedly.

I know that’s the point. They are “losers” but the show actually does it right…

I think this is the only “cop” show I watch.

  3. This is a show I watch because of the great acting and writing. It witty too. So I was shocked when the last episode (the attack on the MI5 convoy) turned into a heart thumping thriller right out of the Mission Impossible franchise.

  4. After yesterdays episode this has cemented itself for me as an all timer. It is just always firing on all cylinders. I’m starting the books today because I can’t take the wait anymore.

  5. I’ll be completely honest, series one and two didn’t blow me away, good show yes but I found it lacking some bite. 3 and especially this fourth one are MASSIVE improvements, truly must watch television. Acting, plot, direction, everything is top quality. And I cannot get over the fact how well the city is filmed, conveying both its immense, tentacular size and much lesser known nooks and crannies. It’s Woody Allen’s NY in English form

  6. Trying to explain Slow Horses to muggles is like trying explain Norway to a dog

*farts on the head of MI5*
