Yes. Let me get it across. It flopped, yes. But..
156 million worldwide for a totally original movie in today’s climate is a great result. Yes, 66 million in North America may be slightly disappointing – considering DiCaprio’s star power.
But, 88 million international total looks mighty impressive. For instance, Twisters did just above 100 million international. That’s a tentpole blockbuster. Yes, you can say it was catered towards the American audience and whatnot. But 156 million in a packed summer last year is an encouraging result. Anyone else feel that?
