Most studios are like “We have no new information to share at this time,” or “Please bare with us while we work to make the best movie possible!”
But not Amazon. Amazon yells **”You will be patient!”**

Patience. Followed by intrigued. Leading to excitement. Ending in disappointment. I’m aware of how this works.

You’ll get nothing and like it!

I’m cool with that. I’d rather wait for a good Bond film than be disappointed in a rushed one.

If they expand the universe, we might get more stories, maybe even from other characters’ perspectives. That’s like turning Bond into a cinematic universe, but you know, with class.
But then, there’s this other part of me that’s a bit worried. Like, what if they overdo it? Bond’s been this special event, and if they start pumping out movies or series left and right, it might lose that “event” feeling. It’s like if you could have steak every day, it wouldn’t feel as special.

I’ve tried to watch,on multiple occasions, that last Bond and I fall asleep every time.

After how long they dragged out the Craig era I’m not sure the fans have a choice, we’ve learnt helplessness by this point

Idk, I kinda feel like Bond is at a cultural low point? Let’s be honest: most Bond movies aren’t very good, and the franchise goes through cycles where a new Bond actor generates excitement that inevitably burns itself out well before the actor finally steps away from the role. Craig was Bond for a long time: it’s been 18 years since Casino Royale came out. And while Casino Royale is arguably the single best Bond movie and was a huge hit, the other Craig Bonds were not great. Skyfall is probably the only other one worth watching… and it came out 12 years ago. So it’s been nearly 20 years since anyone said “wow, that sure was a great Bond movie and I can’t wait to see what they do next” and a dozen years since anyone said “yeah that was alright: better than the last one”. So we’re just supposed to be patient now? Okay, hope that works out for you.
