If that deal wasn’t in place theaters should’ve just given them back to The Wild Robot

They’re going to lose so much revenue. Damn you, Zaslav!

If anyone is looking to get away from the world for a little bit, may I suggest seeing Joker: Folie a Deux in IMAX this weekend… You’ll be the only one in the theatre!

Poor theaters. They’re going to be counting the days until they can get rid of it.

At this stage. WBD should say sorry and play Joker 1 and 2 for the regular priced ticket. If they don’t come up with something it will look like a wasteland imo.

Deals like these are hurting theaters. I get that these contracts benefit IMAX and IMAX movies but 3 weeks for a movie that was already a disaster on opening weekend is too much.

Same happened with The Marvels last year, with competing films only being given one week having to share those screens with the MCU flop.

You know, there is a quote from Zaslav during Cinemacon this year that has stuck with me all this time.
>”Last year, we turned the world pink. This year, we are turning the world, Black & White.”
Even as far back as April, Zaslav knew Joker 2 was a piece of shit, so they pivoted to Beetlejuice as their tentpole film of the year.

I bet so many theaters wanna give rid of Joker right now.

My Regal IMAX is getting rid of the IMAX screenings for Joker and is bringing back The Wild Robot and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

This movie has destroyed the WB brand and the Joker character. What a disaster.

If I’m theatres, I start putting performance metrics into these premium screen allocations so a bomb doesn’t have empty screeneings.

Theater chains have to rework these deals to make them more responsive movie performance-wise.

The amount of hate in this comments explain that most of box office users are just a bunch of action and entertain fanboys who then cry for lack of originality in Hollywood!1!1!1

For only one showing a day. My IMAX is showing The Wild Robot and Beetlejuice the rest of the time.

The IMAX near me only has it at 9:45pm this weekend. They’re giving the rest of the showtimes to Wild Robot and Beetlejuice.

Apparently my Regal didn’t get that memo cause starting Friday The Wild Robot and Beetlejuice are in Imax, no Joker
