The comment in the thumbnail is already hilarious. Best screenplay ever written? Is it even one of Tarantino’s five best scripts?

I love True Romance, watched it many times, great cast, the fact it’s from 31 years ago makes me feel old.

I always have a soft spot in my heart for this film. I feel like if this movie didn’t happen, then pulp fiction would have never happened. Like this movie was the evolution to that movie. And it doesn’t fail to deliver. Maybe it was growing up in a certain time period. I adored Chritian Slater’s and Patriciata Arquettes Relationship. Gary Coleman as the pimp Drexler, Chistopher walken and Deniss Hopper in one of the best scenes in mob history, Val Kilmer being the hallucination of Elvis, BALCOEY from perfect strangers being the temp for some holly wood big timer. And Brad pitt just being the stoner room mate.

To me this movie doesn’t waist a moment of screen time. And it’s cool if you don’t like this movie as much as I do. But I have no problem openly admitting that I adore every part of it.

  4. It’s probably his worst if anything. It’s the only Tony Scott movie I’ve seen so far which I didn’t like.

  5. True Romance and Natural Born Killers are both remakes of Badlands and these work great as an unrelated trilogy. I love TR and think is wonderful but IMO Jackie Brown is his best from the 90s
