I cannot fathom doing this to another human being, much less the mother of your child

This is such an awful and sad situation. I just watch a YouTube video about the child ‘camps’ she was sent to and the abuse they go through. I really hope she gets all the help and support she needs to leave him and has a wonderful healthy life with her baby.
